Take a microwave-safe bowl and fill it with water. Cut a lemon in half and squeeze the juice into the water. You can also place the squeezed lemon halves into the bowl.

 

Place the bowl inside your microwave and heat it on high for 3-5 minutes, or until you see steam filling the microwave and the water is boiling.

 

Let the bowl sit inside the closed microwave for another 5 minutes. The steam, infused with lemon, will work to loosen all that stubborn food splatters and grease.

 

Carefully remove the hot bowl. Now, using a clean cloth or sponge, simply wipe away the loosened grime from the inside of your microwave. You'll be surprised how easily it comes off!
